Application and Contract for Membership
To the Officers and members of the Club: I hereby make an application for membership in the above Club and for that purpose make the following statements. I agree that I will conform to and abide by, and be bound by the constitution, by-laws, and rules now in force or hereafter adopted.

NOTE:
ACTIVE: open to Active or retired Boston Police officers or to permanent Boston Police officers who leave their positions under honorable conditions for a full-time position as a Federal, State, County, City, or Municipal law enforcement officer who establishes Irish ancestry through either parent, whose sound character is proven to the satisfaction of the Board of Directors hereinafter established, and whose patriotism and pride encourage the welfare and security of the United States and those who profess to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.
ASSOCIATE membership shall consist of any full-time federal, State, County, City, or Municipal law enforcement officer, who can establish Irish ancestry through either parent. (Non-Boston law enforcement officers).
HONORARY membership shall consist of any person, not a Boston Police Officer who is nominated by an active member of the Emerald Society of the Police Department of the City of Boston, Inc. and who may, after his/her sound character is proven to the Membership Committee, the Board of Directors and the officers of the Corporation, have his/her name submitted to a meeting of the members. Upon affirmative vote by the majority of the members present, said party may be inducted into the Emerald Society of the Police Department of the City of Boston, Inc.
