It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Retired Boston Police Officer and Emerald Society Past President Thomas Brown He retired from District D4 in January 3, 1988. He was the Society’s President from 1988-1989 during which he had the organization return to Ireland to March in the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin. After a long career at the BPD, he enjoyed more than 33 years in retirement. He was 95. He is the brother of the late retired Paul Brown, father of Boston Police Officer Todd Brown (Explosive Ordinance Unit), and farther of Boston Police Officer Tab Brown (Harbor Unit). Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.
