bpdnews.com : About 2:26am on Thursday, November 5, 2020, Officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a motor vehicle accident involving a Boston Fire Department apparatus at the intersection of Washington Street and Talbot Avenue, Dorchester.
Upon arrival, officers observed a firetruck which had been involved in a crash with another motor vehicle. The operator of the motor vehicle, who is an off-duty Boston Police Officer, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Four Boston Firefighters were also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Boston Police Department Homicide Unit and the Fatal Collision Investigation Team.
