Sergeant James Leahy, longtime member of the Emerald Society, Father of Thomas Leahy, Uncle of Brian Leahy and Dennis Leahy, recently passed away on August 6, 2020. He was appointed to the Boston Police Department on October 7, 1970 and retired November 30, 2005. He was last assigned to the Court Unit at the West Roxbury District Court. Our Hearts, Thoughts, and Prayers are with him and his family.
